Peter Schiff is one of the few people who predicted the economic crises of 2008. He is very bullish on precious metals and gold stocks. The US needs another depression to allow markets to correct themselves. Because America would rather have depression and keep the dollar than depreciate its currency to zero, which would be catastrophic for the United States.
You cannot truly expect the government to take good decisions anyways. The more we think about it the more we believe that all the prepers are right. Perhaps US in on its way to a crisis like the on in Argentina back in 2001.
